Ripe’s Gunplan product has won ‘Best Specialist Insurance Provider’ at the 2021 Insurance Choice Awards. This is the second year running that Ripe has received this accolade, with the Insure4Boats product winning this category in 2020. 

The Insurance Choice Awards are the only independent insurance awards voted for by policyholders, rather than a panel of industry experts. Several other Ripe products were finalists in the awards including Cycleplan for Best Cycle Insurance Provider; Ripe Caravans for Best Caravan Cover Provider; and Golf Care, Insure4Boats, Insure4Music and Insure4Sport all shortlisted for the Best Specialist Insurance Provider. 

The win follows further recognition for the business from the tech industry. Ripe made Business Cloud’s InsurTech 50 ranking which lists the UK’s most innovative insurance technology creators for 2021. 

The business was also listed in the Top 100 Northern Tech Awards for 2021. This league table recognises the fastest growing and most successful tech companies in the region.
